Description
- Create scalable applications with Java 25 and Spring Boot
- Turn business challenges into technical strategies, high-level designs, and working implementations
- Build and evolve microservices using Domain-Driven Design and Event Sourcing
- Use Azure services, including AKS and Kubernetes, while managing infrastructure with Terraform
- Design PostgreSQL data solutions and event-driven architectures
- Partner with engineers across teams to align technical solutions and streamline integrations
- Manage feature delivery from clarifying requirements through implementation
- Shape technical and business strategy by recommending improved methods and new approaches
- Find architectural and technical shortcomings and lead efforts to resolve them
- Advance engineering practices, code quality, and team ways of working
Requirements
- At least six years of professional software engineering experience in the JVM ecosystem
- Strong practical knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, including the technologies and abstractions beneath them
- Professional experience working in Agile development environments
- Ability to independently turn business challenges into technical solutions and lead delivery
- Experience designing microservices, preferably with Domain-Driven Design and Event Sourcing
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes or AKS, and Terraform
- Experience with PostgreSQL and modern CI/CD practices using tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk and automated testing with Spock
- Practical experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to align multiple stakeholders
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering valuable solutions
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Availability to begin as soon as possible
- Willingness to work from the client’s Krakow office at least once per week
- Residence in the European Union and a valid work permit are required
