Java and JavaScript Developer — MWDN (Remote, Ukraine)

Build endpoint security products for global cybersecurity clients using Java and JavaScript. Investigate enterprise issues and help shape future security solutions with distributed teams.

Description

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent software development training
  • At least two years of experience with Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and React
  • Ability to understand and modify a large-scale codebase
  • Practical experience with Unix and Bash
  • Strong knowledge of server-side systems, distributed architectures, APIs, and database interactions
  • Experience using debugging tools, analyzing logs, profiling performance, and investigating root causes
  • Familiarity with endpoint security, network security fundamentals, and enterprise IT environments
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
  • Background working in agile development teams
  • Ability to move between rapid bug fixes and detailed, longer-term investigations
  • Collaborative approach when working with Support, QA, Product, and Engineering teams, including under pressure
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher
