IS Applications Analyst - Epic Systems (Remote)

Support Epic applications and moderately complex technology projects for Providence’s multi-facility healthcare organization. Develop systems, coordinate project teams, and guide departmental staff.

Description

  • Apply established principles, theories, and concepts within the technical discipline
  • Resolve moderately complex technical problems
  • Manage small and moderately complex projects
  • Define and implement new or updated system requirements and procedures
  • Evaluate and document user requirements
  • Develop and deploy systems supporting moderately complex processes
  • Coordinate activities across project teams
  • Provide direction, training, and guidance to less experienced departmental staff
  • Initiate corrective actions to help keep projects on schedule
  • Deliver professional technology support across a large multi-facility healthcare organization
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external contacts, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Partner with colleagues across Providence St. Joseph Health and Services on cross-departmental initiatives
  • Reflect and integrate Providence’s mission and core values into daily work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, information services, or equivalent education and experience
  • Epic accreditation or certification maintained within 90 days of hire
  • Four years of industry-related experience
  • Relevant software application, technology infrastructure, or clinical specialty certifications at hire are preferred
  • Three years of healthcare information systems experience are preferred
  • Epic experience is preferred
