Infrastructure Specialist at Kyndryl — Missouri Remote

Diagnose, design, and integrate cloud, network, server, and database environments for Kyndryl’s enterprise clients. Deliver dependable infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premises technology environments.

Description

  • Investigate complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments, and systems to determine root causes
  • Propose solutions that align technical feasibility, delivery timelines, and customer priorities
  • Test, improve, and automate processes to increase reliability, efficiency, and repeatability
  • Evaluate risks and apply strategies that help prevent service disruption
  • Design complete infrastructure solutions spanning multiple platforms and technologies
  • Connect systems across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
  • Automate workflows and procedures to simplify delivery and reduce errors
  • Record architectures and operating procedures to support handoffs, knowledge transfer, and continuity
  • Work with Architects, Project Managers, Technicians, and other cross-functional teams
  • Manage project delivery from initiation through completion while meeting quality and schedule expectations
  • Explain technical solutions clearly to customers and other stakeholders
  • Produce meaningful outcomes that strengthen customer confidence
  • Broaden expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise IT systems, and emerging technologies
  • Obtain certifications and qualifications through practical project experience
  • Develop toward future Architect or Distinguished Engineer career paths

Requirements

  • Experience using infrastructure monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Selector AI
  • Database administration experience with MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, or comparable technologies
  • Experience developing, deploying, and managing projects
  • Advanced expertise in a defined technology area, including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics
  • Experience with enterprise IT applications
  • Practical experience in software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture within the AWS public cloud
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of diverse IT concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of the design methods, tools, and principles used to create technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to assess alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail
  • Ability to work at a client, customer, or partner site where COVID-19 vaccination documentation may be required
