- Direct the facility’s daily operations
- Maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
- Manage and support all department managers
- Monitor ongoing facility compliance
- Align clinical service delivery with business plans
- Achieve or surpass quality, clinical, utilization, performance, and financial productivity targets
- Uphold a high standard of resident and customer service
- Help resolve resident care concerns
Requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm and commitment for serving older adults
- Adaptable, engaging, and energetic approach
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing home administration or a related discipline
- Ability to build constructive relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, consultants, providers, government agencies and representatives, and the wider community
- Ability to put the facility’s and company’s care philosophy into practice
- Up-to-date understanding of applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations
- At least two years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Professional conduct and presentation
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
