Description
- Apply engineering principles to mechanical building-services design, including HVAC systems
- Create drawing markups, engineering calculations, schedules, and related design documentation
- Operate Revit and other mechanical design and calculation software
- Produce technical reports and presentation materials
- Adhere to company standards, procedures, and design quality-check requirements
- Deliver assigned work within agreed timelines and budget parameters
- Apply safety-in-design principles covering accessibility, maintainability, coordination, and buildability
- Support multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of experienced engineers
- Gradually assume greater responsibility for design, coordination, and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in building services
- Understanding of mechanical building systems, including HVAC fundamentals
- Good knowledge of HVAC-related norms and standards
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Motivation to learn new tools, systems, technical skills, and working methods
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Curious, analytical, and capable of solving problems
- Interest in long-term professional development within an engineering consultancy
- Commitment to ongoing personal and technical development through regular CPD training
- Professional approach to managing time, tasks, and deadlines
- Ability to collaborate within a multinational team
- Proactive willingness to ask questions and seek feedback
- Master’s degree in building services preferred
- Basic Revit MEP knowledge preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical building-services software, such as Revit, HAP, and DesignBuilder, preferred
- Out-of-the-box thinking related to automation or innovation preferred
