Description

  • Investigate complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments, and systems to determine root causes.
  • Propose solutions that balance technical feasibility, delivery timelines, and customer priorities.
  • Test, refine, and automate processes to increase reliability, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Evaluate risks and apply preventive strategies to minimize service disruptions.
  • Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions spanning multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Connect systems across hybrid-cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Automate workflows and operational processes to accelerate delivery and reduce errors.
  • Record architectures and procedures to support handovers, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Project Managers, Technicians, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Manage project delivery from initiation through completion while maintaining quality and schedule commitments.
  • Explain technical solutions clearly to customers and stakeholders.
  • Produce measurable, high-impact outcomes that strengthen customer confidence.
  • Build expertise across cloud platforms, enterprise IT systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Obtain relevant certifications and qualifications and apply them to live projects.
  • Develop toward future Architect or Distinguished Engineer career paths.

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in a defined technology area, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • Experience working with enterprise IT applications.
  • Practical experience in software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture within the public AWS cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Working familiarity with diverse IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the design methods, tools, and principles used to create technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to compare the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail.
