- Coordinate, complete, and record project work within a collaborative team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience; equivalent additional experience may substitute for the degree
- Practical experience using Esri software, particularly ArcGIS Pro
- Experience converting varied sources, including non-geospatial tables and CAD files, into standardized geospatial formats
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document methods and results effectively
- Strong organization and task-management skills for handling multiple datasets, assignments, and deadlines in a team setting
- Ability to write Python scripts that improve efficiency and automate recurring inventory and data-development work
- Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust
- Preferred: Familiarity with Navy geospatial data standards, including the SDSFIE data model
- Preferred: Experience with GIS data for Environmental, Cultural Resources, Natural Resources, and Bird/Wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) programs
- Preferred: Experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools
- Preferred: Experience validating data and performing quality-control checks with RBJ files and/or Python scripts
