Full-Time Customer Service Representative - U-Haul, Conyers, GA (Onsite)
Serve U-Haul customers with rental transactions, returns, and product guidance. Inspect and maintain equipment while supporting truck, trailer, propane, and inventory operations.
Description
- Support customers inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services
- Operate smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Move and connect U-Haul trucks and trailers
- Clean and inspect lot equipment, including checking fluid levels
- Answer customer questions and explain relevant products and services
- Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
- Install trailer hitches and wiring
- Fill propane tanks
- Operate a forklift
- Complete continuing education through U-Haul University
- Handle additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Work safely around moving machinery, fumes, and irritating chemicals, using required protective clothing or equipment
- Remain stationary for extended periods and move between indoor and outdoor areas
- Reach objects at different heights
- Move equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship
- Use or learn smartphone-based U-Scan technology
- Obtain propane and forklift certifications through U-Haul after employment begins
