Description

Build Planima’s web application across the full stack
Take new features from concept through production
Break down needs, plan delivery, and coordinate with relevant colleagues
Develop backend functionality including APIs, background jobs, integrations, and data modeling
Build frontend interfaces using the design system and frontend guidelines
Set technical direction and make informed technical trade-offs
Understand, review, and test AI-generated code before it reaches users
Work with continuous releases and automation
Participate in code reviews and regular technical discussions
Contribute to technical support and respond to production incidents
Collaborate with colleagues and provide technical support to other parts of the company

Requirements

Several years of software development experience, including building and operating backend functionality in production
Production experience with relational databases and the ability to understand the SQL queries run by the application
Experience delivering features that include both backend and frontend work
Product-minded, with a genuine interest in what is being built and how it affects users
Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, with the ability to explain and take ownership of the code they produce
Treat automated testing as a natural part of shipping software
Able to independently troubleshoot production issues and failures in build and test pipelines
Fluent communication skills in both Swedish and English
Comfortable working with a dynamically typed language and using tests and clear conventions to maintain quality
Experience with Ruby, Python, or PHP in web backend development is a strong foundation
Experience with React and TypeScript, or MVC frameworks such as Rails, Django, or Laravel, is a plus
