Fraud Specialist - Minsk Hybrid

Monitor suspicious activity, investigate fraud and financial-risk incidents, and help prevent bonus abuse for Neo Group in a hybrid Minsk-based role. The position partners with Legal, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to strengthen fraud controls and respond to critical incidents.

Description

  • Use fraud detection tools to monitor user activity and identify suspicious behavior in real time
  • Analyze patterns, trends, anomalies, and operational links to investigate suspected fraud
  • Track new fraud methods, threats, and risk indicators
  • Monitor and investigate bonus abuse across products
  • Model and document algorithms and scenarios for detecting risky transactions and fraudulent behavior
  • Work with Legal, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to resolve fraud-related issues
  • Guide and train employees on fraud prevention and emerging risks
  • Lead investigations and coordinate responses to suspected fraud, security breaches, and critical incidents
  • Prepare and present fraud and risk reports for senior management
  • Investigate financial-risk incidents and assess their root causes and potential impact
  • Design and implement corrective actions to reduce fraud and financial risk

Requirements

  • Degree in economics, finance, analytics, statistics, or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in economics, analytics, statistics, or a comparable analytical position
  • Strong analytical ability, with a structured and logical problem-solving style and careful attention to accuracy
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Native-level Russian language skills
  • English proficiency at B1 level or above
  • Availability for shifts from 09:00–17:00 or 17:00–01:00 GMT+3, including weekends when needed
  • Proactive, self-directed approach to finding issues, researching solutions, and delivering improvements
  • Clear communication skills for working with employees at all organizational levels, including senior management
