Description

  • Process fixed asset accounting transactions in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements
  • Complete monthly closing activities to support accurate and timely financial close
  • Prepare monthly and annual account reconciliations, control documentation, and supporting schedules
  • Assist with internal and external audits involving fixed asset accounting and financial controls
  • Deliver accurate, timely financial information in response to reporting requests
  • Collaborate with finance and other business functions to support operational and financial goals
  • Review, analyze, and maintain financial records and related documentation
  • Take part in fixed asset inventory activities
  • Help improve processes by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency

Requirements

  • Education or experience in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline
  • Fluent Hungarian and English communication skills
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Customer-oriented approach and willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Availability for a one-year temporary contract
  • Preferred: experience with fixed asset accounting activities
  • Preferred: knowledge of US GAAP and/or local statutory accounting standards
  • Preferred: experience in shared services, finance operations, or a multinational business environment
  • Preferred: familiarity with audit support and financial control processes
  • Preferred: exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Preferred: interest in process optimization and operational excellence
