Description

  • Define and lead the company’s financial strategy in line with corporate objectives
  • Provide financial and economic guidance as a member of the Management Committee
  • Prepare the annual budget and regularly update financial forecasts
  • Monitor variances between budget, actual results, and forecasts
  • Set financial KPIs and define corrective actions
  • Assess profitability across business lines, analytical services, and customers
  • Identify financial risks and recommend improvement measures
  • Prepare and present monthly income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow reports to management
  • Build dashboards to monitor margins, costs, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee general and analytical accounting, invoicing, collections, payments, and bank reconciliations
  • Approve monthly and annual financial closings
  • Manage treasury activities and cash-flow forecasts
  • Maintain banking relationships, assess financing needs, and optimize the financial structure
  • Coordinate external audits and serve as the main contact for auditors and advisors
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and commercial regulations
  • Lead the administration team
  • Drive the improvement and automation of financial processes within the ERP
  • Report directly to the General Management and participate in the Management Committee

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • An MBA or finance specialization is advantageous
  • Five to ten years of experience in financial roles, preferably in technical, industrial, or laboratory environments
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating external audits
  • Advanced knowledge of financial ERP systems such as SAP, Navision, or similar platforms
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with business intelligence tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • B2–C1 English proficiency is required
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Strong analytical ability, strategic business perspective, precision, results orientation, and communication skills for management reporting
