Field Service Technician - Schaumburg, IL (Onsite)

Repair and maintain Crown and other manufacturers' lift trucks while supporting customer equipment in the field. Responsibilities include servicing vehicles, managing van inventory, and completing job documentation.

Description

  • Diagnose and repair Crown and other manufacturers' lift trucks
  • Complete scheduled maintenance on customer lift trucks
  • Manage the service van and maintain its inventory
  • Complete required paperwork after each service call

Requirements

  • Less than two years of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and the ability to operate lift trucks safely
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines
  • Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Experience using common hand tools, electrical and air tools, torches, arc welders, and various testing equipment
  • Ability to read service manuals, plan work, and follow through
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; employer sponsorship is not provided
