Field Service Representative – Water Treatment, Baytown

Operate and service Marmon Industrial Water treatment equipment at customer sites in Baytown, Texas. The role includes water testing, maintenance, safety assessments, chemical cleaning, documentation, and client communication.

Description

  • Operate and regulate water treatment equipment to meet performance targets
  • Inspect equipment when required
  • Perform required equipment maintenance
  • Test water samples for pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, turbidity, hardness, chlorine, and conductivity
  • Complete chemical cleaning of equipment
  • Maintain daily documentation, including pre-job safety briefings, service records, and job safety analyses
  • Conduct site risk assessments
  • Check equipment integrity each day
  • Communicate with clients as needed
  • Handle chemicals in accordance with safety practices
  • Revise or update standard operating procedures when necessary
  • Perform additional assigned duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Post-secondary technical education is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Adaptable team contributor
  • Clear communication skills when working with varied stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, air compressors, blowers, PVC and HDPE piping, and 24/110/240/480-volt electrical systems
  • Safety-minded approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work flexible hours and provide 24-hour on-call coverage
  • Willingness to complete background screening, drug testing, and required safety training for access to customer sites
