Field Inventory Auditor – Birmingham, Alabama Onsite

Audit Circle K stores across the Birmingham area, checking merchandise, cash, fuel, and operational compliance. Travel between locations each day and report findings to store and operations management.

Description

  • Drive daily to Circle K stores in Birmingham, Alabama, and nearby assigned areas using your own vehicle
  • Perform physical merchandise counts with a handheld computer or scanner
  • Discuss audit findings with Store Managers
  • Report audit results and observations to the Audit Supervisor and Operations Management
  • Check store merchandise and cash
  • Alert Store Managers to pricing errors and remove expired or out-of-code merchandise
  • Count and reconcile on-site cash assets
  • Verify money orders, lottery ticket stock, and bank deposits
  • Check gasoline inventory
  • Complete surveys assessing compliance with operational and financial procedures
  • Observe all applicable safety procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Support related team objectives and duties as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • At least one year of inventory auditing or convenience-store retail experience
  • Valid driver’s license without major offenses
  • Current liability insurance for your vehicle
  • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally
  • Ability to drive your own vehicle daily between stores in assigned areas
  • Comfort using a handheld scanner or computer for inventory counts
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit, speak, hear, grasp or handle items, stand, walk, and reach with both arms
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
