Description

Evaluate real estate and private equity investments
Maintain and enhance financial models for investment projects
Prepare analytical models and presentation materials for internal decisions and partner or investor pitches
Work with sell-side analysts, company and partner finance teams, and investor relations professionals
Assess international bond issuers’ credit profiles and maintain watch lists using Excel and Bloomberg
Research international equities to support portfolio management decisions
Develop and maintain equity watch lists
Collect and statistically evaluate historical data to test investment ideas
Handle additional analytical assignments as needed

Requirements

2–3 years of professional experience as a buy-side equity analyst, investment analyst, or in a comparable role covering US and/or European equities
Hands-on experience building business and cash-flow projection models for companies or projects
Working knowledge of financial and credit analysis terminology
Securities trading experience is useful but not required
Ability to analyze sectors, companies, and projects, including through SWOT analysis
Understanding of company and project valuation methods
Ability to interpret company accounting data and financial reports
Ability to process and filter large volumes of information
Basic proficiency in locating relevant data from public sources
High accuracy when working with large quantitative datasets
Experience creating financial presentations
Practical experience developing financial models with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
SQL programming experience is an advantage
Knowledge of statistical analysis programming is an advantage
Fluent English is required
Ability to understand technical financial documentation, research, and financial statement reports
Russian or another additional language is advantageous but not required
