Engineering Office Coordinator – Amcor, Sélestat

Coordinate investment, engineering, and industrialization projects for Amcor’s flexible packaging operations in Sélestat. Lead feasibility studies, project execution, and budget optimization across the site.

Description

  • Deliver methods, construction, and industrialization projects from initial design through implementation
  • Manage each project’s technical, administrative, and financial dimensions
  • Optimize capital expenditure and operating budgets
  • Help shape, schedule, and organize the investment plan
  • Track project performance indicators
  • Carry out feasibility assessments and process optimization studies
  • Draft technical specifications and statements of work
  • Prepare and oversee tenders for construction projects, materials, and equipment
  • Coordinate and monitor on-site project execution while maintaining safety, cost, and schedule compliance
  • Chair project status meetings with relevant stakeholders
  • Evaluate project outcomes against timelines, costs, and return on investment
  • Coordinate the activities of the five-person Engineering department
  • Facilitate meetings and cross-functional working groups

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or engineering qualification equivalent to Bac+5, with a specialization in mechanical engineering
  • Professional English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable position within an industrial environment
  • Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, fluids, and utilities
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods and project management
  • Knowledge of machinery compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Proficiency with office productivity and information technology tools
  • Working knowledge of SAP, including the MM and MP modules, and AutoCAD
  • Energetic, proactive, and effective in building professional relationships
  • Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
  • Able to prioritize competing responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
