Description

Create and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
Develop scripts and workflows for cloud provisioning, configuration management, and operations
Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, application delivery, and security scanning, including SAST, DAST, dependency, and container scans
Develop code-based monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Automate security controls in line with best practices and compliance requirements
Improve cloud resource utilisation and cost management through automated controls
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure problems with programmatic solutions
Contribute to cloud architecture decisions that accelerate delivery without weakening security

Requirements

Demonstrated experience working with AWS
Strong programming ability in cloud automation languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerShell, or shell scripting
Practical experience with infrastructure as code tools and practices
Knowledge of container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools such as GitHub Actions
Experience implementing monitoring and observability
Understanding of cloud security best practices and security controls as code
Industry-recognized cloud or security certifications
Hands-on experience implementing technical controls for SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance
Experience with serverless architectures and function-as-a-service implementations
Experience using SAST, DAST, and container scanning tools
Knowledge of security scanning and testing tools for infrastructure code
Familiarity with secrets management solutions
Experience administering and automating OpenShift
Ability to explain repeatedly why restarting a cloud system is not always the answer
