Description

  • Lead data protection compliance across the organization while advising teams on privacy matters
  • Work with stakeholders to integrate privacy requirements into new products, services, and business initiatives
  • Perform data mapping, DPIAs, and TIAs, turning regulatory obligations into practical, scalable solutions
  • Maintain records of processing activities, privacy notices, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate data protection agreements
  • Assist with responding to data subject rights requests
  • Coordinate the investigation and resolution of data protection incidents, including remediation and required regulatory reporting
  • Work with the Data Protection Officer on privacy-related matters
  • Provide privacy expertise for AI and innovation projects, including EU AI Act compliance

Requirements

  • A full legal qualification, preferably including the first and second State Exams; degrees in Law, IT, Business Informatics, or a comparable field are also considered
  • Data protection training or certification is preferred
  • Two to five years of practical experience in data protection, privacy, or a related compliance position
  • Strong command of the GDPR and German data protection law
  • Working knowledge of international data transfer requirements
  • Experience with DPIAs, TIAs, data protection agreements, data subject requests, and privacy incidents
  • Well-developed analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Genuine interest in technology, AI, and emerging regulatory requirements
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or another regulated sector is advantageous
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English and German
