Data Entry Operator - Patent Processing, Full-Time Remote

LexisNexis is seeking a remote data entry operator to process patent application images and files. The role focuses on accuracy, quality, production targets, and adherence to established procedures.

Description

  • Enter data into company systems and organize information according to established procedures
  • Follow an assigned work schedule
  • File records and documents as directed
  • Enter content into standardized templates
  • Collate and photocopy materials
  • Perform routine data entry activities
  • Confirm receipt and completeness of image deliveries
  • Complete electronic summary checklists
  • Electronically zone file segments, including CWU complexity, artwork, drawings, text, CRC pages, and unused data
  • Process patent applications by moving images into the appropriate folders when required
  • Handle problem files according to established procedures
  • Help train new employees and support problem resolution when appropriate
  • Meet or exceed defined productivity and quality standards
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED credential
  • Detail-oriented approach and ability to collaborate with a team
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including the mouse, keyboard, and Windows applications
  • Strong commitment to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Capacity to learn and retain a large volume of information
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing self-development
  • Sound decision-making and judgment
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment assessments
  • Ability to reproduce a test document from a source document by following instructions
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Successful completion of the LN RT Verification process and BI Clearance; candidates must live in the Greater Philadelphia or Greater Pittsburgh area.
