Data Analyst - Booz Allen Hamilton (Washington, DC, Onsite)

Use Python, Tableau, and data visualization to turn complex datasets into client insights for Booz Allen Hamilton’s National Security team. Support workforce decisions through analysis, metrics, and clear stakeholder recommendations.

Description

  • Use data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships
  • Research, develop, and validate data methodologies
  • Design cross-functional solutions for large datasets
  • Inform large-scale business and process decisions with data insights
  • Translate technical requirements and trends for varied audiences
  • Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
  • Define quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators
  • Communicate data visually through graphs, tables, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Develop data-centric solutions for clients
  • Explain data meaning and workforce impact to clients

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in data analysis
  • Experience with Python, including user interface development
  • Experience wrangling and preprocessing data by cleaning, organizing, and transforming raw data with tools such as Pandas or ETL processes
  • Experience creating data visualizations with Tableau or Matplotlib
  • Experience handling protected data such as PII and applying ethical AI practices
  • Ability to present findings clearly and collaborate across functional teams
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with R
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with HR data and training development
  • Background in mathematics and statistics, including probability, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing
  • Knowledge of the military or Intelligence Community
  • Strong communication skills
