Cultivation Technician I, Trulieve, McKeesport PA (Onsite)

Support Trulieve’s cannabis cultivation operations in McKeesport through plant care, grow-room sanitation, and hands-on agricultural work. Duties include pruning, trellising, emitter placement, plant handling, and maintaining cultivation equipment.

Description

  • Provide hands-on labor for cultivation operations in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, procedures, and operating guidelines
  • Assist the flower department with daily cannabis plant care and sanitation
  • Support vegetative, mother-plant, and propagation areas as business needs require
  • Complete repetitive agricultural tasks and follow supervisor directions
  • Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms
  • Net and trellis cannabis flower plants
  • Load cannabis plants and install emitters
  • Tuck and spread plants according to instructions
  • Prune and defoliate cannabis plants
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required by company guidelines
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material
  • Clean, sanitize, and store grow-room tools and equipment
  • Perform manual duties across departments and complete other assigned tasks

Requirements

  • Reliable and punctual attendance
  • Cultivation or cannabis experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years old, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background screening
  • Ability to handle organic matter daily while wearing appropriate PPE
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE
  • Ability to push, pull, move, or lift at least 50 pounds to a height of at least 5 feet and carry it at least 50 feet
  • Ability to stand, sit, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, perform repetitive movements, and reach for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movements
  • Visual acuity for reading, computer viewing, and visual inspection in both light and dark conditions
  • Ability to communicate verbally at conversational levels with coworkers and vendors
