Crown Parts Sales Representative – Houston, TX
Sell Crown replacement parts to material-handling customers across Houston. Manage territory prospects, customer relationships, orders, follow-ups, and parts inventory.
Description
- Sell Crown replacement parts throughout an assigned territory
- Identify prospects, prepare quotes, demonstrate products, and close sales with end users
- Build and maintain customer relationships through cold calls, telephone outreach, direct mail, line cards, flyers, and related methods
- Track part back orders, account records, and lead follow-ups
- Regularly support existing consignment and non-consignment customers
- Keep parts inventory in the parts van accurate and up to date
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Valid driver’s license, strong driving record, and the ability to operate lift trucks safely
- Working knowledge of service-parts inventory control
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer-service skills
- Two years of experience as a technical parts representative or field service technician in the material-handling industry is preferred
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must be able to work without current or future sponsorship for employment authorization
