Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon (UK CCT)
Provide orthopedic surgery and trauma care at a private hospital in Dubai. Work with multidisciplinary teams to support better patient outcomes.
Description
- Assess and manage conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons
- Perform orthopedic surgery within the scope of your training and clinical expertise
- Treat trauma, fractures, joint disorders, and other musculoskeletal injuries
- Create tailored treatment plans that include surgical and non-surgical care
- Conduct preoperative assessments, postoperative care, and follow-up consultations
- Coordinate care with radiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital clinical governance and patient safety standards
- Take part in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement activities
Requirements
- Hold a recognized medical degree, such as an MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent
- Have proven experience as a consultant in orthopedic surgery
- Hold or be eligible for General Medical Council (GMC) registration where applicable to the UK qualification pathway
- Bring relevant orthopedic surgical experience in both operative and non-operative patient care
- Demonstrate strong diagnostic, surgical decision-making, and communication skills
- Commit to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and multidisciplinary care
