Description

  • Support daily operations across River’s compliance, fraud, sanctions, complaints, and dispute programs
  • Analyze client activity data to identify trends, risks, and operational gaps
  • Improve compliance tools and workflows by identifying inefficiencies and supporting data-informed changes
  • Work with Product and Engineering to enhance and automate compliance operations
  • Implement and refine compliance policies, procedures, and controls
  • Collaborate with Client Services and Finance on investigations and risk-based resolutions
  • Conduct client outreach that balances regulatory obligations with a strong customer experience
  • Assist with regulatory examinations, audits, and responses to legal and law enforcement inquiries
  • Keep River’s leadership informed about compliance program trends, progress, and developments

Requirements

  • Previous compliance experience is not required
  • Bring ownership, curiosity, a growth mindset, strong communication skills, and an interest in working directly with clients
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and risk management
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL
  • Show initiative, reliability, and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Approach problems resourcefully and creatively
  • Translate high-level objectives into clear, actionable operational processes
  • Be willing to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • Have an interest in Bitcoin and River’s mission
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Provide college or university information and GPA in the application form
