Communications Student Assistant in Berlin (Hybrid)

Support the ICCT’s European communications work on clean transportation policy. Monitor media, maintain stakeholder databases, and produce social media materials.

Description

  • Contribute to European communications projects covering light-duty vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, marine policy, and aviation policy.
  • Handle administrative duties as needed.
  • Track media coverage and keep the media database up to date.
  • Help develop and maintain stakeholder contact lists.
  • Produce social media materials, including graphics, infographics, and simple video clips.

Requirements

  • Currently studying journalism, communications, visual design, social sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a student.
  • Must be matriculated at a university in Berlin.
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An intellectually curious, organized, and self-motivated approach is required.
  • Interest in creating social media materials, including graphics, infographics, and simple video clips.
  • English proficiency is required.
  • An interest in European climate or transport policy is desirable.
  • A resume and cover letter are required; applications must be submitted without a photo.
