Clinical Sales Representative, Chicago

Intuitive is seeking a Clinical Sales Representative to expand da Vinci Surgical System adoption in the Chicago area. The role trains surgical teams, supports procedure integration, and grows instrument and accessory sales.

Description

  • Drive clinical sales and increase da Vinci Surgical System utilization across the Chicago, Illinois territory
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Sales Manager on strategies to increase robotic-system use
  • Coach surgical teams through training, operating-room integration, and da Vinci Surgery applications
  • Provide da Vinci Surgery expertise across core surgical specialties
  • Support regional Sales and Marketing events that build system awareness and encourage procedure adoption
  • Create a da Vinci Surgery plan for each surgical team to enable independent system use
  • Grow the user base through engagement with key opinion leaders
  • Increase sales of instruments and accessories
  • Coach new team members toward strong performance
  • Handle administrative responsibilities, sales activities, and expense-report submissions

Requirements

  • At least five years of sales experience, including two or more years in healthcare sales
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Availability to work nights and weekends when needed
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Operating-room experience or knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated history of successful performance
  • Strong ambition and exceptional work ethic
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the greater Chicago area
  • Role may be subject to U.S. export-control requirements
  • Intuitive and/or its customers may require current vaccination documentation for certain diseases, including COVID-19
