Business Systems Analyst II - Onsite in Louisville

Sierra Space is seeking an onsite Business Systems Analyst II in Louisville to improve business systems, software environments, and operational processes. The role supports space and defense technologies through requirements analysis, configuration, testing, incident response, and user support.

Description

  • Conduct detailed analysis of new business system development and enhancements
  • Evaluate processes on an ongoing basis to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Identify improvement opportunities, contribute to improvement plans, and help execute them
  • Configure and enhance software systems in line with business requirements
  • Maintain software environments, including incident response and troubleshooting
  • Interpret business requirements and convert them into technical specifications
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate business systems and ensure reliable functionality
  • Maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and modifications
  • Contribute to testing and quality assurance efforts
  • Deliver end-user assistance and training when required
  • Keep current with developments and established practices in business systems and IT
  • Potentially supervise entry-level analysts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience in place of a degree
  • At least two years of related professional experience is generally expected
  • Certification requirements depend on the business system
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, software configuration, CI/CD, engineering, and business processes
  • Proficiency working with software environments and performing upgrades
  • Foundational knowledge of IT systems, software configuration, and business processes
