Associate Director, Source-to-Contract Global Process Owner – Bengaluru

Own GSK’s global Source-to-Contract process, procurement technology ecosystem, governance, and operating model. Lead standardization, transformation, compliance, and continuous improvement across the biopharma organization.

Description

  • Own the global Source-to-Contract process and its supporting technology ecosystem
  • Set the end-to-end process strategy, operating model, governance framework, standards, and future-state direction
  • Lead process design, standardization, optimization, and harmonization across Direct and Indirect Procurement
  • Direct transformation initiatives from design and testing through release readiness and enhancement deployment
  • Build and deliver continuous-improvement and innovation roadmaps informed by benchmarking, emerging technology, automation, analytics, and AI
  • Manage process and technology performance, data requirements, governance, KPIs, and reporting
  • Drive return on investment, benefits realization, value tracking, enhancement prioritization, and funding requests
  • Maintain procurement policies, standards, controls, and process documentation
  • Deliver change management, communications, training, and adoption plans
  • Maintain audit readiness and business continuity through controls, audits, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and continuity planning
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders
  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for the Source-to-Contract roadmap and process excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • At least 18 years of overall professional experience
  • Extensive expertise in procurement processes, operating models, governance, systems, data, and change management
  • Strong business knowledge and understanding of end-to-end procurement processes
  • Strategic analysis and sound judgement for resolving complex process, policy, data, and technology challenges
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
  • Technical understanding and curiosity to translate business needs into practical technical requirements
  • Capabilities in agile thinking, analytical thinking, contract management, detail-oriented execution, digital literacy, interactive storytelling, negotiation, problem solving, sourcing management, and stakeholder management
