Description

  • Support the Accounting Manager with daily accounting operations across multiple US entities
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial closes
  • Help integrate recently acquired entities into accounting processes, chart of accounts, and reporting structures
  • Assist with external audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Lead accounting system enhancement and optimization initiatives
  • Find ways to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity
  • Coach, review, and develop Staff and Senior Accountants
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Finance, and business teams
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account analyses under US GAAP
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
  • At least five years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including work in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial close procedures
  • Experience completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining account schedules
  • Proven experience supporting audits and compliance obligations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • CPA certification or active CPA candidacy preferred
  • Experience supporting acquisition integration and post-close accounting activities preferred
  • Background in system implementations, enhancements, or accounting process optimization preferred
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
  • Previous experience mentoring or developing junior accounting professionals preferred
  • Experience in a private-equity-backed or high-growth company preferred
