Description
- Set the visual vision and artistic direction for Papaya Global’s game portfolio
- Maintain distinctive visual identities and rigorous design standards across every game
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary art and design teams
- Build a high-performing, agile, and collaborative team culture
- Protect artistic quality, polish, and visual consistency across the portfolio
- Work with Product, Marketing, and Tech leaders to connect creative direction with business and product priorities
- Introduce Generative AI and automated pipelines to improve production speed and scalability while preserving originality and creative standards
- Manage resources, team capacity, software budgets, and external vendor and outsourcing partnerships
- Deliver work on schedule against business KPIs
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience as an Art Director, Head of Art, or Senior Creative Manager in gaming
- Experience leading large, multidisciplinary art teams through multiple management layers
- Advanced expertise in game UI/UX, 2D art, LiveOps, performance marketing creative, and brand identity
- A strong portfolio showing hands-on UI/UX work, visual storytelling, creative leadership, and measurable business impact
- Demonstrated success building and scaling diverse, high-performing design teams
- Practical experience incorporating modern production tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and Generative AI pipelines into scalable workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for influencing stakeholders at every level
- Ability to make rapid, confident decisions informed by industry patterns, context, and creative judgment
