Arizona Remote Addiction Counselor (Telehealth)
Provide remote, evidence-based substance use disorder care through Affect Therapeutics’ digital addiction treatment program. The role includes assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis support, and coordinated care.
Description
- Assess new members during intake to gauge readiness and identify the appropriate level of care
- Lead individual and group counseling sessions based on Affect’s evidence-based curriculum
- Respond to crises and arrange suitable referrals when needed
- Complete accurate, timely records in the electronic medical record system
- Partner with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge plans
- Follow HIPAA requirements and applicable state regulations
Requirements
- Hold current licensure in Arizona
- Maintain an active, verifiable LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LIAC, LACT, or LAAC license, plus licensure in your state of residence when it differs from Arizona
- Have credentials verifiable through the relevant State Board website
- Use Microsoft Office or Google Suite, electronic medical record systems, and telehealth platforms proficiently
- Demonstrate a commitment to supporting people in recovery and developing therapeutic relationships
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, mission-driven startup
- Maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with dependable internet access
