Description

Assist the Actuarial division with reserving activities
Collaborate directly with experienced actuaries
Translate classroom learning into practical actuarial work
Develop experience handling real-world situations with Encova associates
Take part in meaningful projects, networking, community involvement, and volunteer opportunities
Follow a hybrid schedule that includes weekly workdays in the Columbus office

Requirements

Be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and have completed at least 60 credit hours
Pursue a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or data science
Demonstrate strong mathematical and technical aptitude
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences
Be proficient with Microsoft applications
Maintain strong attention to detail
Be a sophomore or junior, preferably
Have one or two actuarial exams completed or in progress, preferably
Reside and work in one of the employer’s eligible U.S. states
Be available to work at least 40 hours per week
Be authorized to work in the United States through E-Verify eligibility
