Accounts Payable Specialist – AVL, Érd, Hungary (On-site)

Description

  • Respond to supplier inquiries by phone and email, resolving invoice and payment issues
  • Review and process supplier invoices in line with company procedures
  • Handle non-compliant documents and keep workflow records accurate
  • Post and block invoices for payment, including recurring and non-purchase-order transactions
  • Process supplier and intercompany payments, including urgent requests
  • Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and provide timely status updates

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Three to five years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a related finance function
  • Professional English proficiency; German is highly preferred
  • Experience with IFRS or other international accounting standards
  • Strong SAP knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Well-developed analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Ability to recognize patterns and document processes as needed
  • Willingness to travel internationally
