Description

  • Review and validate supplier invoices
  • Record supplier invoices in the accounting system
  • Check accounting documents for compliance with internal policies
  • Manage invoices for general expenses, merchandise, and fixed assets
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve exceptions
  • Address queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze accounts payable balances
  • Prepare and verify supplier payment runs
  • Review accounts payable aging reports and monitor supplier receivables and advances monthly
  • Apply accounting procedures and internal controls
  • Support period-end closing activities within the assigned scope
  • Help improve Shared Services Center processes and tools
  • Work with internal departments to maintain Procure-to-Pay process quality

Requirements

  • A bachelor-level qualification equivalent to a BTS in Accounting and Management or a university diploma in business administration with a finance and accounting focus
  • Ideally, 3–4 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a multi-company or Shared Services Center setting
  • Essential proficiency with an ERP system
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of the Procure-to-Pay cycle, including purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and payments
  • Experience handling invoices for general expenses, merchandise, and fixed assets
  • Advanced ability to use IT tools and ERP systems
  • Experience in a Shared Services Center and open-plan office environment
  • Proficiency with office applications, especially Excel
  • Interest in project-based work and comfort operating in a changing environment
