Abbott Clinical Associate – Electrophysiology, Texas Remote

Support Abbott’s electrophysiology products during hospital procedures and cardiac arrhythmia treatments. Combine clinical, technical, educational, and sales support across regional electrophysiology teams.

Description

  • Deliver engineering, sales, educational, and technical assistance for electrophysiology products
  • Provide clinical and technical support in hospitals using electrophysiology technology to treat cardiac arrhythmias
  • Work with physicians and hospital staff to assist in diagnosing and treating abnormal heart rhythms
  • Build foundational electrophysiology expertise through structured, hands-on training
  • Cover regional electrophysiology procedures in electrophysiology laboratories and/or operating rooms
  • Serve as the clinical liaison between healthcare professionals and the business
  • Develop customer relationships and communicate product knowledge effectively
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of electrophysiology products, technical specifications, software, and capabilities
  • Help ensure cardiac mapping, diagnostic, and therapy systems are used safely and effectively
  • Support electrophysiology sales representatives through collaboration, regional training, clinical studies and data collection, troubleshooting, and product demonstrations
  • Strengthen engineering, sales, and technical capabilities in line with territory strategy
  • Track industry developments, regulatory obligations, company and competitor products, market trends, and strategic priorities
  • Share market trends and customer insights with management
  • Track performance and communicate status updates to managers and teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Verification that all vendor credentialing conditions can be met, potentially including COVID-19 vaccination
  • Capacity to provide regional electrophysiology procedure coverage in an electrophysiology laboratory and/or operating room
  • Availability for occasional travel for in-person training and live procedure support
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Willingness to comply with medical surveillance requirements
