Turkish-Speaking Accounting Associate
Prepare bookkeeping, tax returns, audit schedules, and financial reports at a full-service CPA firm. Support U.S. and international business clients.

- Guide new clients through onboarding and set up their accounting records.
- Help attract and retain clients by providing responsive, high-quality service.
- Manage daily bookkeeping, including payables and receivables, monthly closes, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Prepare and file U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns.
- Prepare sales tax returns, depreciation schedules, and sales journals.
- Review and reconcile payroll records and employment tax returns.
- Reconcile monthly balance sheets and maintain client inventory records, management reports, and ad hoc reports.
- Prepare year-end audit schedules and assist with audits.
- Keep digital and physical financial records accurate and current.
- Document, design, and test processes that affect financial statements and company performance.
- Find opportunities to automate systems and spreadsheets.
- Work with the manager and other Associates to meet client deadlines.
- Assist with payroll, special projects, and other related duties as assigned.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- At least two years of professional bookkeeping and accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
- Fluent written and spoken Turkish and English.
- CPA license holders and candidates pursuing CPA licensure will be prioritized.
- Other certifications, such as EA, Turkish CPA, or ACCA, will also be considered.
- CPA firm or public accounting experience is a strong plus.
- Practical experience with individual and business taxes is required.
- International tax experience is a strong plus.
- At least two years of experience using accounting software.
- Experience managing accounting and reporting for for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
- Ability to produce accurate work on time with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication with colleagues, clients, and external contacts.
