Support Valmont infrastructure and coatings engineering projects as a structural engineering intern in Valley, Nebraska. Inspect structures, perform engineering calculations, and develop designs, reports, and drawings.

- Collaborate with the Structural Engineering Manager, P.E., S.E.
- Inspect properties to evaluate the existing condition of foundations and building structures
- Take field measurements and complete load and capacity calculations
- Assess and select suitable construction materials
- Provide technical engineering guidance
- Identify and secure required planning and building regulation approvals
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other relevant professionals
- Monitor and inspect contractor-performed work
- Administer project contracts
- Manage projects and develop scope-of-work documents
- Produce reports, designs, and technical drawings
- Engage in project assignments, leadership development, job shadowing, and interactions with senior leaders
आवश्यकताएँ
- Be a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
- Attend an ABET-accredited college or university
- Civil or Structural Engineering majors are preferred
- Demonstrate proficiency with CAD applications, including converting drawings into 3D models
- Possess strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Be available full-time with flexibility during the summer and part-time during the academic year
- Work onsite in Valley, Nebraska
- Be available to start in Spring/Summer 2027
