- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent degree.
- At least one year of experience in building design consulting.
- Growing capability with the design methods, tools, and concepts used to produce technical plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of structural design standards for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Knowledge of structural systems used in buildings and other structures.
- Strong technical and analytical abilities.
- Growing command of structural mechanics and materials principles.
- Proficiency with industry standard structural analysis and design software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Careful attention to detail and problem solving ability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Growing proficiency with Building Information Modeling software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 5%, including occasional overnight trips.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Engineering in Training license preferred.
