- Scale frontend architecture so a growing engineering team can contribute effectively
- Create responsive, data-rich experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile users
- Partner with design, product, operations, and engineering on new and existing workflows
- Increase consistency and maintainability across frontend applications and shared components
- Establish frontend standards for component architecture, design-system usage, responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability
- Expand Storybook coverage and strengthen component documentation
- Develop tooling and automated review safeguards for recurring frontend quality issues and code smells
- Contribute to backend APIs and broader platform improvements as needed
- Mentor engineers and help elevate engineering quality across the organization

- At least four years of experience developing applications with React.js
- At least two years of experience using Node.js, Python, or a comparable backend language
- At least two years of experience building high-traffic web applications in a startup setting
- At least two years of responsive web development across browsers, tablets, and mobile devices
- At least two years of experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP
- Strong product and user-experience judgment with a systems-focused approach to frontend engineering
- Experience working across functions with product and design teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Familiarity with UI libraries such as Chakra UI or Material UI
- Experience using Storybook to document UI components
- Familiarity with observability platforms such as Sentry, Bugsnag, or Datadog
- Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer
- Familiarity with relational databases including PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Interest in AI-assisted development workflows and documentation practices
