Lead accurate bookkeeping for Australian clients at Visory, reviewing AI-assisted work, resolving complex accounting issues, and managing day-to-day client communication.

- Manage the quality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of bookkeeping services for an assigned client portfolio
- Oversee accounts payable, transaction coding, reconciliations, accounts receivable, month-end close, BAS, IAS, TPAR, and fixed-asset records
- Resolve complex or ambiguous cases that AI agents cannot answer confidently
- Document errors, corrections, and process changes to improve AI agent performance
- Spot recurring client issues and escalate them to the Manager and product team
- Evaluate product enhancements and contribute to quality standards
- Optimize Xero, connected applications, and client-information workflows
- Act as the primary contact for clients’ routine bookkeeping questions
- Explain accounting topics clearly to business owners and finance leaders
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least seven years of hands-on Australian bookkeeping experience
- Experience handling multi-currency transactions, inventory and COGS, and complex reconciliations
- Thorough knowledge of BAS, IAS, TPAR, GST treatment, FBT data capture, and month-end close
- Advanced Xero proficiency, with Xero Advisor certification or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of Dext
- Experience using Shopify, Deputy, payment gateways, and PSP or EFT integrations
- Readiness to learn and collaborate with AI agents as teammates
- Ability to review AI-generated work and deliver clear, actionable feedback
- Clear written communication in online and platform-based interactions
- Ability to explain accounting concepts to non-finance business owners
- Confidence assessing ambiguous accounting issues and explaining decisions
- Personal accountability for the accuracy of every client file
- Sound judgment about when to escalate an issue or seek a second opinion
- Strong focus on maintaining high-quality work
