Senior Designer responsible for commercial and literary fiction covers at HarperCollins Publishers. Creates concepts, typography, and print-ready artwork in partnership with Art and Editorial teams.

- Create distinctive cover designs for hardcover and paperback fiction titles
- Produce commercially focused covers for commercial and literary fiction
- Shape creative concepts around each book’s market position and intended readership
- Partner with the Art Director and editors from concept through completion
- Identify, commission, and coordinate illustrators, photographers, and other visual contributors
- Build print-ready mechanicals and evaluate or approve printer proofs
- Track evolving design and typography trends alongside the competitive publishing market
- Oversee several projects with limited supervision while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of professional design experience, ideally in book publishing or a related discipline
- A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, sophisticated typography, and polished design judgment
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
- Confidence presenting and explaining creative work in a clear, professional manner
- A cover letter is strongly preferred
