Senior Accounting Manager, Renewable Energy — Boston Hybrid

विवरण

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close across corporate and holding company accounts, development and construction costs, fixed assets, intercompany activity, financing, derivatives, leases, asset retirement obligations, tax credits, and other corporate accounting.
  • Oversee statutory statements and US reporting packages for Greenvolt Power entities to support group consolidation.
  • Maintain the close calendar and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial support documents.
  • Establish and maintain accounting controls, approval workflows, and documentation standards.
  • Resolve accounting, reporting, and control gaps while driving process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and regulations, group policies, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead implementation and improvement of accounting and finance systems, including SAP.
  • Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships.
  • Lead a team of four to five internal and outsourced accounting professionals.
  • Work with external tax advisers and accountants on federal, state, and local tax provisions, returns, and filings.
  • Review tax deliverables and assist with tax audits and government inquiries.
  • Work with Finance and the Head of Finance on accounting, reporting, controls, systems, and finance initiatives.
  • Improve accounting workflows, reporting efficiency, and financial controls across the US organization.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive accounting experience, including management of close and reporting processes.
  • Renewable energy, infrastructure, power, or project company accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge; IFRS experience is a plus.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidation, intercompany transactions, and statutory reporting.
  • Experience overseeing external auditors, tax advisers, and outsourced accounting providers.
  • SAP experience, preferably including implementation or migration.
  • Big Four or comparable public accounting experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems.
  • Strong people management, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
