Remote Power BI Analyst – Healthcare Revenue Cycle
Build Power BI dashboards and DAX analytics to support Med-Metrix’s healthcare revenue cycle operations. Provide client reporting, data analysis, and day-to-day operational support remotely.

- Track revenue and accounts receivable through Power BI reports for the revenue cycle team.
- Partner with project leaders to understand workflows and create analytics that monitor financial performance.
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Collect requirements for data visualization and analysis.
- Work with data teams and analysts to source, clean, and transform data.
- Build advanced DAX measures and calculations.
- Apply data security practices and support compliance.
- Investigate and fix issues with Power BI reports.
- Train and assist Power BI users.
- Stay informed about Power BI updates and industry developments.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards.
- Maintain knowledge of client data, including payer mix, insurance and financial classes, patient access systems, and data timing.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support daily operations.
- Work with colleagues and clients to develop solutions.
- Identify and resolve problems promptly and thoroughly.
- Carry out other assigned duties.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- One to three years of experience, or equivalent, in healthcare revenue cycle analytics.
- Understanding of data modeling and data visualization.
- Experience using SQL to manipulate and extract data.
- Knowledge of DAX for creating calculations.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
- Understanding of best practices for working efficiently with large datasets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across the organization.
- Problem-solving and creative abilities, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions using accurate, timely analysis.
- Integrity, dependability, urgency, and focus on results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A smartphone or other electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security.
- Ability to follow directions, collaborate, work under stress, and meet the stated physical demands.
- Ability to understand and follow Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Ability to limit access to protected health information (PHI) to the minimum necessary.
- Ability to use, protect, and disclose PHI in accordance with HIPAA standards.
