- Manage the publication calendar and story pipeline across written formats
- Set deadlines and follow up with interns who miss them
- Maintain and update publishing process guides
- Lead recurring weekly editorial meetings
- Share updates at Leadership and All-Staff meetings
- Support HR with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding contributors
- Train editors and writers, setting standards for sourcing, process, and format
- Protect ONC’s nonpartisan position and brand
- Coordinate joint projects with the Media and Marketing teams
आवश्यकताएँ
- Writing or editing experience, whether professional, academic, with a student publication, or at a news organization
- Ability to edit arguments and structure as well as grammar and style
- Experience coordinating a group to meet a deadline
- Comfort directing others and holding them accountable for commitments
- Sound judgment in sourcing, attribution, and factual accuracy
- A record of following through on ongoing commitments
