विवरण

Produce accurate management accounts for an assigned business division and meet all reporting deadlines
Prepare and review accruals, prepayments and profit and loss analysis for month-end close
Analyse variances against budgets and forecasts, explaining results and highlighting relevant insight
Maintain cost reporting, identify cost drivers with stakeholders, challenge expenditure and inform future forecasts
Reconcile balance sheet and control accounts to uphold financial accuracy and compliance
Prepare and file monthly VAT returns in accordance with statutory requirements
Collaborate with Cost, Commercial and Purchase Ledger colleagues to maintain a timely, accurate flow of financial information
Assist the Finance Manager and Head of Finance with reporting, ad hoc analysis and business initiatives
Support year-end accounting activities and the annual audit
Improve financial controls, processes and working practices while helping develop the wider team
Lead, coach and mentor direct reports through regular guidance, support and performance feedback

Part-qualified or qualified accountant, or equivalent experience, through ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Advanced Excel proficiency
Experience in a relevant finance position
