- Advise on contract disputes, claims, and resolutions while supporting constructive business relationships.
- Deliver daily legal support to the parent company and its global subsidiary operations.
- Manage legal risks and mitigation strategies involving product liability, intellectual property, logistics, tariffs and duties, and cross-border sales.
- Collaborate with regional legal teams and develop familiarity with the laws of other jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and oversee external counsel while aligning legal spending with business objectives.
- Support the development of parent-company legal policies, processes, and resources.
- Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with Canadian Solar policies and procedures.
आवश्यकताएँ
- 3–8 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in corporate or commercial law.
- Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, financing, or securities law is an asset.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Admission to practice law in your jurisdiction of residence.
- Strong legal drafting ability and experience negotiating complex commercial contracts within a deal team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with sales representatives and other highly motivated professionals.
