- Develop and improve high-performance mobile applications
- Build reliable products with smooth, stable performance
- Architect and implement thoroughly tested Objective-C software for Snapchat camera experiences
- Plan, develop, and release new product features
- Assess technical tradeoffs and make informed engineering decisions
- Partner with Design on user-interface and infrastructure practices
- Review code to maintain strong quality standards
- Apply AI tools and fast-paced engineering practices to design and deliver scalable services
- Maintain rigorous standards for correctness, security, and production readiness
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of post-bachelor’s software development experience; alternatively, a technical master’s degree with 1+ year of postgraduate development experience or a relevant PhD
- Professional experience developing iOS applications
- Working knowledge of the Objective-C runtime and underlying system processes
- Understanding of operating-system internals, compilers, and optimization for mobile, low-power systems
- Experience with iOS multithreading and performance optimization
- Strong computer science foundations in algorithms, data structures, and problem solving
- Knowledge of software design patterns and iOS development best practices
- Proficiency with AI development tools, or a strong ability to adopt them effectively
- Sound judgment for reviewing AI-generated code for architecture, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities
- Ability to learn and apply evolving AI systems and development tools
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Objective-C and iOS
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Swift
- Preferred: hands-on experience with C or C++
- Preferred: experience with OpenGL or Metal
