  • Train operations and business unit teams on HTS and other government reporting requirements.
  • Maintain tariff classification rules and records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Track classification changes in assigned regions, update internal databases, and inform external brokers.
  • Identify and resolve issues through clear communication and analytical problem-solving.
  • Develop trade policies and procedures that reflect regulatory changes, risks, and impacts.
  • Track relevant country trade regulations and seek to influence their development.
  • Act as a liaison with national and local agencies.
  • Improve regulatory compliance and business effectiveness through process optimization.
  • Follow corporate policies, procedures, and security standards.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and five years of professional HTS classification experience, or a high school diploma/GED and nine years of professional HTS classification experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship.
  • U.S. licensed customs broker or equivalent license in a foreign jurisdiction.
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrated ability to apply HTS General Rules of Interpretation (GRIs) and concepts such as essential character.
  • Ability to interpret customs rulings and engineering drawings or schematics, and clearly communicate technical information.
  • Experience with large-scale international trade projects.
  • Experience working across geographies, functions, and systems of record.
  • Expertise in trade areas such as release, classification, valuation, and trade risk management.
  • Familiarity or working knowledge of PGAs.
  • Experience handling broker inquiries.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP GTS and Tradeflow experience is a plus.
